Prepping Your Home For Market. 1. CLEAN IT UP! Your home’s exterior curb appeal is a potential buyer’s first impression. Be sure your lawn is immaculate. Cut away cluttered vegetation, prune bushes and plant flowers. Remember, many may never get out of the car if it doesn’t appeal to them from the street. Also make sure your exterior is clean and well-maintained. If it has been neglected on the outside, most people will think it is on the inside as well. 2. FIX IT UP! Door handles and windows all need to be working perfectly, as well as all lighting and plumbing.  3. PACK IT UP! De-clutter your interior. Rent a storage unit and store unneeded furniture and decorations there. Remember, the goal is to de-personalize your home and open up your interior.
